Distributors Printing Services, Inc. has been in business in Southeastern Wisconsin for the
last 12 years. We sell only to Distributors or other Manufactures located mainly in the
Midwest with shipping points nationwide, to Canada, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

Our primary capabilities included letterpress crash imprinting and short to medium run 1-
and 2-color offset printing. We also handle storage & release of customer’s goods.

In trying to keep up with the modern day world, we decided to go with a computer-to-plate
system to improve the workflow within our company. After researching and viewing
different equipment, we decided the RIPit CtP System gave us more options and would best
fit our needs. Right away we were very impressed with the set-up, training, and technical
support that we have received from RIPit.

With the system was in place, we immediately ran our first 4-color process job using the
high res polyester plates imaged on our RIPit CtP System. The plate quality was great
and ran even better on press. The best thing was we did it ourselves, in-house. Normally
we would have been sending out for negatives and when we finally got them in, strip them
up to burn metal plates.

The RIPit CtP System also has increased our shop production by automating complex
prepress tasks. What used to take us hours, we get done in minutes using system features
like In-RIP Trapping, AdvancedScan™ scan-to-plate, KOOLKolor™ Inkjet Proofing and
RIPit’s fantastic hybrid screening feature, PerfectBLEND™.

What else can I say, the RIPit System put us in control of our workflow, helped us to
increase production and gave use the ability to do quality 4-color work.
