Megan Faraimo is a talented and accomplished softball player, who has had a highly successful career both at UCLA and with Team USA.

As a member of the UCLA Bruins, Faraimo ranks seventh on the program's career strikeouts list, with 768, and second all-time on UCLA's K/7 list at 10.04 (minimum 200 innings pitched). She also holds the school's single-season record for saves with seven in 2022, and became the 17th pitcher in program history to reach 50 career wins on February 11, 2022. Faraimo threw four of the program's 22 perfect games, and is the only player in UCLA history to both pitch and hit a home run in the same Women's College World Series game.

Faraimo has also represented Team USA in several international competitions, including the Japan All-Star Series, The World Games in Birmingham, Alabama, the Canada Cup and the 2022 Pan American Championships in Guatemala City.

In the 2022 season, Faraimo earned numerous awards and accolades. She was named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Year and was a finalist for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award. Faraimo was also named an NFCA Second Team All-American, an All-Pac-12 First Team member, and selected to the NFCA West All-Region First Team. Additionally, Faraimo was named to the Women's College World Series All-Tournament Team after her performance in the game against Northwestern, where she pitched a complete-game with 10 strikeouts and hit a home run. Faraimo also was an honoree of Softball America and D1Softball Second Team All-American.

In her 2022 season, Faraimo boast a 24-5 record over 46 appearances and 26 starts, a 1.98 earned run average with 292 strikeouts over 198.0 innings, leading the NCAA in saves and establishing UCLA’s single-season saves record (7) as well leading the Pac-12 and ranking seventh in the NCAA in strikeouts (292). Notched four shutouts, 14 complete games and 11 double-digit strikeout performances. Additionally, Faraimo hit for a .209 batting average with two home runs and 13 RBI.

Megan Faraimo is not only a record-breaking and accomplished player on the field, but also a powerful force to be reckoned with. Her 2022 season is a testament to her skill, work ethic and determination as a pitcher and a batter.
