RIP-IT Has Teamed Up With National Pro Fastpitch

RIP-IT ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH NATIONAL PRO FASTPITCH!

RIP-IT, the fastest-growing fastpitch protective gear and apparel company in the nation, has teamed up with National Pro Fastpitch to become the exclusive licensed provider of apparel for the official NPF merchandise store as of August 1, 2019.

As a brand that is committed to furthering the sport and elevating female athletes, RIP-IT’s partnership with NPF is part of an on-going rebranding initiative, which includes a partnership with NPF athlete, Bianka Bell. By collaborating directly with softball athletes in a co-creation process, RIP-IT has embraced the duality of the softball player and has worked to design gear and apparel that is tailored for the unique needs of female athletes.

“From our co-creation product development we learned first hand about [the athlete’s] pains and aspirations,” said RIP-IT CEO, Jason Polstein, “This awareness definitely had an impact on how we viewed our brand. Our voice shifted from ‘we make great softball gear’ to ‘we are fastpitch-inspired innovators on a mission to elevate the player experience — products created exclusively with athletes who inspire us on and off the field’.”

NPF Commissioner Cheri Kempf, expressed that the partnership between RIP-IT and NPF is an exciting development for professional fastpitch players, and enhances the mission of both organizations: “This new relationship with RIP-IT is one that is focused on innovation and development within the sport, for the athletes that play softball. To have our teams and specifically our players involved in that process, is a win right out of the box for us. Further, to have an official apparel line available through customized merchandising stores, is going to be a special treat for our players and fans alike. We look forward to the launch of these stores in August and are grateful for the commitment by RIP-IT to partner with us on this large initiative."

It’s this dedication to understanding the individual needs of softball athletes that caught the attention of NPF. As the only professional women’s softball league in the United States, RIP-IT’s partnership with NPF offers an opportunity to reach players at the highest level of the sport. Additionally, as a softball lifestyle brand, RIP-IT understands that its impact on players and teams doesn’t stop the moment they step off the field.

“We started in fastpitch softball because we discovered a group of amazing players, parents, and coaches who were in need of a brand that focused on them from the start of the day till the end of the day, 365 days a year,” said Polstein, “Through this journey we also learned that being part of this community is so much more than just gear, it’s making a difference, through sports, so players learn life skills that set them up for success as adults.”

The partnership between NFP and RIP-IT further solidifies RIP-IT’s commitment to elevating a sport that has been traditionally underserved. By working with NPF, RIP-IT is not only spreading brand awareness, but is continuing to innovate within the fastpitch-inspired gear and apparel market and push the sport to the next level.

The collection will be available starting Aug 1st, 2019 exclusively at npfshop.com
